Most Entertaining Movie I Have Seen In A Long Time!

If you haven't seen Night In The Museum with Ben Stiller and a Cast of excellent actors then you are missing a real GEM of a movie!
Who hasn't ever thought of what it would be like to be in a museum a night!
This is a fun filled flik and to see Micky Rooney and Dick Van Dyke again is great! What a marvelous film!
I will consider this one for an addition to my home library!

I AM FED UP!

As long as I have to sign in three times to get to my Blog I will not be writing much now.
Maybe I'll begin a hand written journal.

Mellow Weekend

Considering last week's issues I am lucky that I had a mellow weekend and was able to fly under the radar.
Now to get some personal errands done and prepare for the District meeting in Montana.

Google is Pissing me off!

Three times I have to enter my name and password to get into my Blog!
Google doesn't even remember me on my computer so as not to have to enter my name and such!
What is up with it!
That is why I didn't ever change over until last week when it forced my to! UGH!
Google is a bad word in my house right now!

Scheduling Hassles

Why is it that a nonprofit Veterans organization would have trouble scheduling a Saturday event for Veterans in a Rest Home!
It is unbelievable that every year we have an event called Xmas in July and a BBQ and yet every year the management gives us grief and tries to have us schedule it on a weekday causing detriment to the employed members.I hope my entire year isn't as frustrating as this first week is being!

Fourth Day As Grand Commander

I am beginning my fourth day as Grand Commander.
I am one for one right now!
One error and one good mark!
As long as the error doesn't create havoc I believe I am doing well!
At least I will take the hit and have accepted responsibility for it and will account for it rather than allow others to.
All is well and today I have a luncheon to discuss the Veterans attendance at the Hillsboro International Air Show this summer.

A Little History In The Making

The Weekend is coming to a close.
While a New Page in veteran History is in the Making!
I won the election this weekend and have been duly installed as The First Female Grand Commander, of Oregon, for The Military Order of The Cooties!

I believe I am up to the task at hand; As I stand on the Shoulders of Giants!
I look forward to a Great Year for Oregon and its Veterans!

Grand Scratch Weekend

Here it is!
I have been busy campaigning for MOC Grand Commander of Oregon and this weekend is the Nomination and Elections!
I have done all the work and have Make a Difference Vote for Karen badges and flyers to put out at the Hotel.
All else is done!
Now to have my efforts pay off!

Life is Good

The weather is warming and today is rainy and a perfect day to do odds and ends and enjoy the fact that life is good!
I have so much to be Thankful for and realize how I never seem to think of this. I rather concern myself with what I don't have as yet!
Well...The Flowers smell wonderful and life as it is today is marvelous!
I am grateful and Thankful for this day and all those I have already experienced!

Today I have Begun My New regimen

Because I deserve the best can be I have, today, begun my new regimen of diet, positive thinking and exercise.
Funny how bringing it all together can actually start a snowball effect and becomes easier as you go along.

Building a Better ME!

Not only am I staying positive and working on my quality of life, I am also working on ME.
Today was another great day of building bridges and continuing on a forward motion through the VA and my medical needs that will enhance my quality of life and help aid me in building a better ME!
I am excited because I even ordered a neat rowing machine!
I had used a friends many years ago when getting fit to join the Navy and loved it and just never found one quick like it. Well not only did I find one, but it was a very good price!
I cannot wait until I have it!
With the medical procedures and therapy and orthopedic prosthetics AND the work I am doing with diet and food supplements I see me getting more active and feeling better not too far in my future!
